POSITION SUMMARY (“What are we looking for?”)
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Brand Manager to support the execution of marketing programs that drive visibility and conversion across retail and digital channels. The role reports to the Senior Brand Manager and is a remote role - but those local to San Diego are welcome to work out of our head office.
This role is ideal for an early-career marketer (1–2 years of experience) who’s eager to learn the full spectrum of brand management — from campaign execution and content creation to affiliate program coordination and creative asset management. You’ll collaborate closely across the marketing team, as well as cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives and consistent storytelling across all touchpoints.

SCOPE OF POSITION
Creative Asset Management
- Maintain and organize the brand’s digital asset management system (Canto) that is shared with external vendors.
- Assist with the development of product thumbnails, enhanced content, and product copy for new product launches. Upload new product thumbnails and assets to Salsify.
- Help support the sales team and retail partners with distribution of creative assets.
Content Development
- Work closely with Senior Brand Manager on new GEO content development and execution. Ensure keyword strategy is implemented across all relevant channels.
- Help implement website updates to support promotions, content updates, and key campaigns.
Project & Budget Management
- Help develop timelines for new product launches in Asana to improve work efficiency across the team and ensure milestones are completed on time.
- Support Senior Brand Manager in developing and executing the communications plan to support innovation launches.
- Help manage the monthly budget reconciliation across the different team members
- Collaborate with agency to deliver assets and content needs to support publishers
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (“What are we looking for?”)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1-2 years of marketing or brand experience, ideally in consumer goods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Shopify, Smartsheets, Salsify and Asana a plus.
- Creative thinker with an eye for visual details and brand consistency.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
